Up Date:

Aloha!

here's an up-date:

So I came back from Hawaii exactly one week from yesterday. (bitter-sweet)
I know I haven't posted stuff in like A LONG time. I'm going to start it up again...hopefully.
When school starts the posts will probably die down again....I'm just committed to school work and getting good grades! I'll be posting pics of our trip plus some other fun stuff! Now I just have to find the time to do it!!

My summer has been a busy one. First with my papa getting sick, then my ballet show, the next surprise was my dad getting sick only days before we left for Hawaii - the last part to my busy summer.
It's been fun yet stressful...that's how my life has always been. I'm always trying to keep balance between the two.

From Friday through Saturday I got to go to my very first 'lock-in' with my youth group! (it's a retreat for the jr highers and high schoolers. The only difference is that they stay at their church.) I attend a different church on Sundays, and go to my youth group at a different church. (I just like it better)

Then Sunday my dad FINALLY consented to our family getting Facebook!! (don't get on my case! I have wanted it for a LONG time!!!)

Yesterday (Monday) we went to a place called scooter's jungle. It's an indoor inflatable jumper place (hard to explain but totally awesome) After that, I went to ballet. It was the first ballet class I'd had since my show!

Today my family and I are going to watch the new movie Turbo! Sounds fun!
I might do a little 'review' sort of thing after the movie...

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog! :D
It means more than any words could say!

Peter Pan - Ballet Style!

Hey!
So last night was my last performance of the Peter Pan Ballet!
I dance at Elite Dance Academy of Orange County (it's a click-able)!
I performed as a fairy and an Indian! They make it so fun! The studio is like on big happy family! I have pics of my costumes but I'll show them to you a little later.

****And the countdown to Hawaii is officially in the EXTREME....2 days to go!!!!!!!****

DIY tavel nacklace holder! :)

1) Find a small snack box and scissors
2) Cut the bottom, top, and sides off. You should just have either the front or the back of the box
3) Turn the cardboard around (if you want to decorate it...now's a good time). Make lines about 1 inch apart
4) Make slits on those lines. Then make slits on the opposite side.
5) If you are using chain necklaces, make sure to put them on the smallest ring.
6) Place the clasp over the slit. (It should slide in easily)

7) Do the same with the bottom.
And there ya have it!!

Some of My Summer Clothes...

Here's my Easter dress! The bottom picture is a close-up of the lace back. (The picture on the left is the best...)

Here are some clothes that I got with gift cards!  I will most likely bring them on our Hawaii trip...
As you can see, I took two angles of the Cali. Love...I just had to!
The Cali. Love shirt and the dress are both from Target (believe it or not!)
Both of the necklaces and the floral blouse are from Forever 21!

Enjoy!

****The EXTREME countdown continues at a whopping 10 days till we head for paradise!!!!****

4th of July 2013

Hey all!
I know it's kinda weird to be writing about the 4th of July when it's July 5th!
(I was extremely busy at my Grandma's house ALL day....and had no WiFi)

For all my international readers who are wondering what the 4th of July is....this is for you. (it's to the point, but not worthy of the history books....)

The 4th of July is not just a day in the month of July in the United States of America.....it's the day we declared our independence from England! (sorry England....we still love you!) Some of us even call it Independence Day! Today, most of my fellow Americans (and I most of the time) just think of it as a time to eat watermelon, wear shorts, watch fireworks, swim or take part in some sort of water games, and enjoy the (usually) warm weather!

Now on to the real reason I'm writing this post....
I have a picture that my friend sent me that I just had to share with you guys!
I'm not exactly sure how she did it, but it's quite creative!

 Here ya go!

****And the EXTREME countdown continues with only 12 more days before we head for HAWAII!!!!!****
