My not so new shoes....

Hey!

About 4 months ago I said I was going to do a post on my "new shoes". Sadly, I haven't gotten around to posting the picture until now... (not good - sorry)

They are Vans that I got at Goodwill for $8! What a find! I had been REALLY wanting a pair of Vans for a long time. I never thought I would buy a pair of shoes at Goodwill.
I was with my Aunt, when I decided to browse the shoe section for my sis, who was in the hospital. Sure enough, I spotted these and wanted to do a squeal of joy and a happy dance right there in Goodwill!


The white shoes laces were replaced with neon green ones.

Thanks Goodwill (and Vans) for giving me a pair of shoes that I  can wear all the time!

3 outfits 4 colors

The dress  has small black and white checks with a velvet collar. There's a little bow in the front as well.

It's a Rugby shirt dress that I got from my Grammy A LONG time ago. There's a white cami peeking out from underneath.

The last look is a cargo shirt dress. It's paired with a navy blue sweater.

Ending Notes:

Sorry the photos are so bad. I don't have a camera of my own - YET! I have to take all the pictures with my iPod touch. :(

Also, a big THANK YOU to my little sis for being my model in 100+ degree weather!

Hey!
A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon The First Lime. I instantly fell in love with the blog/website and the girl who writes it sounds amazing! (her dog is SO adorable!)
The doodles all over the blog and the story behind the name are equally unique!
Her photography is amazing!

One of the sections of her blog is titled "dreams".
That's where I got the inspiration for this post. :)

DIY tavel nacklace holder! :)

1) Find a small snack box and scissors

2) Cut the bottom, top, and sides off. You should just have either the front or the back of the box

3) Turn the cardboard around (if you want to decorate it...now's a good time). Make lines about 1 inch apart

4) Make slits on those lines. Then make slits on the opposite side.

5) If you are using chain necklaces, make sure to put them on the smallest ring.

6) Place the clasp over the slit. (It should slide in easily)

7) Do the same with the bottom.

And there ya have it!!

As you can see, I took two angles of the Cali. Love...I just had to!

Both of the necklaces and the floral blouse are from Forever 21!

Hey all!

Good News:
My summer vacation finally started!
I hope I'll be posting a lot more since I don't have school to worry about.
I have 2 REALLY awesome collages that I would like to share with you!

Bad News:
I can't share them with most of you cause they show my face.
(I'm worried about the whole identity theft thing)
SO if you have my e-mail or you can prove to me that I know you, I will share them with you privately!*
My grandpa is in the ER right now.... :(

*Seriously, they are SO cool!!!!!
(I'll just have to find another way to show you guys me new shirt!) :P :D
